 1.0 Installation Notes For Win2000 Users

    1. Shutdown the computer and plug the DP83815 adapter into the PCI slot.

    2. After starting Windows 2000, the "National Semiconductor Corp. 
       DP83815 10/100 MacPhyter3v PCI Adapter" will be detected automatically,
       then the Update Device Driver Wizard window appears.

    3. Click the Next button in the Install Hardware Device Driver window.

    4. Insert the NSC DP83815 10/100 MacPhyter3v PCI Adapter installation
       diskette into drive A.

    5. Select "Specify a location", then type A:\win2000 and click OK button.

    6. Click Finish button, then Windows starts to copy the NSC DP83815 driver
       to the user's hard disk.


 2.0 Advanced Setup

    When you need to change the speed and duplex for DP83815 adapter.
    The following step will help you to finish the setting.

        1. Click on "Control Panel", then click on "System".

        2. Choose "Hardware" page, then click on "Device Manage..."

        2. Click on the "National Semiconductor Corp. DP83815 10/100 MacPhyter3v
           PCI Adapter" selection in "Network adapters"

        4. Choose "Advanced" page to setting "Network Media":
            Auto Sense
            10BaseT
            10BaseT Full duplex
            100BaseTX
            100BaseTX Full duplex

           Choose the setting as you needed.
