Identification To determine if this is the correct modem driver for your computer, use the following directions to check Device Manager and verify the modem. 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the System icon. 3. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Device Manager tab. 4. On the Device Manager tab, double-click Modem. 5. Listed under Modem should be 56K PCI Voice Modem SF-1156IV R9A. If it is listed, you have the proper driver. Installation Download the file to the desktop, and then follow these steps. 1. Double-click the 7510876.exe file. 2. In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, click Unzip to expand the files to the C:\cabs\7510876 folder. When finished, click OK, and then click Close. 3. Close all open programs. 4. When finished, the driver installation is complete. 6. Click Start, and then click Shut Down. In the What do you want the computer to do list, click Restart, and then click OK. Removal 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, on the Install/Uninstall tab, in the list of installed programs, click 56k PCI Voice Modem SF-1156IV R9A (Uninstall), and then click Add/Remove. 4. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
