This 8.0.0.167 version is not supported as an upgrade if you are using the
Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 LAN MiniPCI Adapter or the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2100A
LAN MiniPCI Adapter. Rather a 7.X.x.x release is the recommended software for these adapters.

2) Installing the adapter driver
-----------------------------------------

NOTE: You must install the device driver BEFORE installing PROSet.

You must install the base drivers according to the methods and
requirements specific to each operating system. You can find the installation
information for most popular operating systems in the Online User Guide.
To access the User Guide, double-click the AUTORUN.EXE file in the
root of this archive. Then click “View User Guides”. Follow the links in the
documentation for installation instructions.

3) Installing Intel Wireless PROSet
--------------------------------------------

PROSet is a separate installable module in this software
release.

NOTE: You must install the device driver BEFORE installing PROSet.

To install PROSetII, simply run AUTORUN.EXE from the root of this
archive and select "Install Software".

4) Compatibility
----------------

This release supports only Windows XP (Home/PRO/Tablet) and Windows 2000 PRO.

This release supports the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection

5000 Cardbus or PCI adapters - these adapters are support by Intel Connections
version 6.2.

Not supported are the PRO/Wireless 2100/2100A LAN MiniPCI Adapter - these adapters are supported by version 7.x.

Not supported are the PRO/Wireless 2011B USB device and the 2011B
