CD. Readme files for specific software installation can be found in
the READMES sub-directory.

Docs
   DIO Manual.pdf
	PDF version of the Dual I/O User's Guide.
   DIO QuickStart.pdf
	PDF version of the printed Dual I/O Quick Start Guide.
   QIO Datasheet.pdf
	PDF version of the data sheet Socket's Ruggedized Quad 
        Serial I/O PC Card.

Enablers
   Contains software required to use the Dual I/O card in DOS.

Third Party
   A directory of for third party applications. Most of these
   applications are evaluation/trial copies that expire after a
   specified period of time (e.g. 30 days). Please refer to the 
   Third Party Readme.txt in the directory for more information.

   \Acrobat Reader - to read PDF files on Windows 9x/2K/NT systems.

Windows 2000
   Contains installation software required to use the DIO card
   in Windows 2000.
  
Windows CE
   Contains installation software required to use the Dual I/O
   card in Windows CE 2.11 or higher.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
