Operation on 820 chipset has not been verified. Supported Operating Systems --------------------------- This release of the Intel(R) OS/2 GRADD Display Driver operates on the following operating systems: OS/2 Warp v4.0 with fixpack5 and later OS/2 Warp v3.0 with fixpak 35 or later OS/2 Warp v4.0 for Japan with fixpack5 and later OS/2 Warp v3.0 for Japan with fixpak 35 or later ************************************************************ * Part 3 - Sightings or Errata with this release ************************************************************ Installing fixpack 10 on 810 systems in the VGA mode may experience a problem where the system appears hang during the blue "OS/2 Warp" screen. The cause of the deadlock appears to be an incompatible disk driver ibm1s506.add. Installing this driver from fixpack 5 manually seems to solve the issue. When upgrading to a new level of silicon and or BIOS, it is important to reinstall the driver. RevB of silicon on fixpack 10 experiences a trap in VIDEOCFG.DLL, an IBM serviced component during initialization. Fixpack 6 does not exhibit this problem. There are minor cursor disturbances during cursor changes (along window edges), as documented by defect GFXsw03089. ************************************************************ * Part 4 - Testing Recommendation with this release ************************************************************ Retest GFXsw03090:it does not reproduce with this build on RevB, BIOS10. Install on fixpack10 and confirm if the VIDEOCFG trap is occuring. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ Intel is making no claims of usability, efficacy or warranty.
