This list includes improvements, bug fixes, and other relevant information.
It is arranged in descending chronological order.

V1.12 (HASP CD Rel 5.1) January 15, 1998

With V1.12, PC-CardHASP is now supported under Windows NT.
For full installation instructions, please refer to the cardhasp.doc file.

NOTE:
PC-CardHASP is supported under Windows NT only in V3.4 and above of the HASP Device Driver.


Bug Fixes:
==========

Case #2286:
PC-CardHASP could not be configured properly under Windows 95 on Notebooks with TI-113x controllers.
The fix is supplied in V3.4 of the HASP Device Driver.


Case #2796:
PC-CardHASP could not be configured properly under Windows 95 on
IBM Thinkpad 760 EL.
The fix is supplied in V3.4 of the HASP Device Driver.

V1.11 (HASP CD Rel 5.0) November 20, 1997

V1.11 of PC-CardHASP provides a fix for:

Case #2630
A PC Card (HL-PCMCIA or any other card) could not be configured properly when inserted after a PC-CardHASP had been inserted and configured.
This problem surfaced only under DOS. The fix is within PCRDHASP.COM.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
