		FlashTool V3.1

Special note:

In specific cases the Flashtool will turn off DMA in your system.
When that happens, the Flashtool will ask you to reboot the system.
After reboot, start the FlashTool again.

      The FlashTool will update the firmware
          of the following drives:

CDD3600: SCSI
	1.PHILIPS	CDD3600 CD-R/RW     
	2.SCSI-CD	ReWritable-2x2x6     

CDD3610: IDE
	1.PHILIPS	CDD3610 CD-R/RW     
	2.Parallel	IDE-CD ReWritable-2x2x6     
	   version

CDD3801: IDE
	1.PHILIPS	CDD3801 CD-R/RW     
	2.PHILIPS	PCA382RW IDE         
	3.IDE-CD	R/RW 2x2x24          

CDD4201: IDE
	1.Philips	CDD4201 CD-R/RW
	2.IDE-CD	R/RW 4x4x24
  Special attention needs to be taken with 4x
  drives with firmware 1.00 1.01 1.02 or 1.04.
  The versions H2_U108 must be flashed before
  the v15b or v15c is flashed.
  The upgrade has to be done as follows:
  1.Flash H2_U108 (a special update firmware)
        1.start flashtool
        2.flash H2_U108
        3.reboot to enable new firmware
  2.Flash the highest firmware v15b or v15c 
  Attention: do all the steps.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
