1. FilmGet FS for Windows 1.0.3 Features

FilmGet FS for Windows (hereafter referred to as "FilmGet FS") 
is a 32-bit TWAIN-compliant scanner driver 
for Canon CanoScan FS4000US. 
When this driver is selected from within a TWAIN-compliant 
application program, one of these scanners can be used to 
scan image data.


2. What You Need

Required Hardware

o CanoScan FS4000US.
o USB port 
  (Universal Serial Bus Specification Version 1.1 compliant)
o SCSI port
  (SCSI II compliant, High Density 50 pin type)

Required Software

o Microsoft Windows 98 , Windows Millennium , 2000 Professional
  or Windows XP
o TWAIN-compliant application programs

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
