Mitsumi USB FDD (model:D353GUE) for windows
1.System Requirements
1) USB equipped windows - Windows 98 pre-installed PC.
2) Only pre-installed Windows 98 or Windows 2000.
2.Software installation.
*Before using the D353GUE, please install the device driver include with the drive.
*Do not connect Mitsumi USB FDD to USB Port before the install of driver is completed.
*Device driver installation is not required for Windows 2000.
1) If D353GUE is connected to PC which device driver is not installed, "Add New Hard
Wizard" will start. Click "Cancel" and cancel the Wizard.
2) Set CD-ROM attached to D353GUE in CD-ROM drive of PC. Double-click "Setup.exe.", and
the start window of installation is shown.
3) Start the install of driver. Click "Next".
4) Setup Complete and request message of restart are shown. Slect "YES, I want to restart
my computer now." and click "Finish" to restart Windows.
5) The install of device driver completes. After restart, connect D353GUE to USB Port.
3.NOTE
1) If D353GUE is connected to USB Hub, USB Hub must be power-supplied by AC adapter.
D353GUE can not be used in USB Hub without AC adapter.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
