For Driver Installation, please read the Readme.txt.

Make sure to remove previously installed modem drivers and 
 all associated files if the device is or will be uninstalled
 or the driver need be replaced with the new one. For most
 Windows modem, use the unique modem utility icon in the 
 "Control Panel" to uninstall the modem driver and utilities.
 All Jaton modems use generic modem drivers and utilities
 provided by modem chip vendors. The new Jaton WinComm uses
 Ambient MD5628 code named "HaM", older WinComm uses Cirrus
 MD5620 code named "CLM", WinMod uses Lucent modem chip code
 named "LT", WinCruise uses PCTel "HSP" MicroModem chip.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
