INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Extract the .INF file to a empty disk or temporary directory (such
       as C:\TEMP).

    2. Click the Start button, then choose Settings, Control Panel.

    3. Double click the Modems icon.  If you currently do not have a modem
       installed, the "Install New Modem" dialog appears.  If this is the
       case, go to step 5.

    4. If you currently have a driver installed for the Modem Blaster 28.8
       PCMCIA, remove it.  Click on the Add button.

    5. Click the "Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list" box.
       Press the Next button.

    6. Press the "Have Disk..." button.

    5. The "Install From Disk" box appears.  Point it to the path where the
       files were extracted (for example, C:\TEMP).

    6. Select the COM port setting.

    7. When you restart the system, and the modem will be installed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
