DEVICE DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE ================================ This document describes the procedure to install Windows 98/98SE/Me driver for Kingston EtheRx KNU101TX USB Fast Ethernet Adapter. Before you start with the installation process, make sure that your Kingston EtheRx KNU101TX USB Fast Ethernet adapter is properly installed in your USB port. Executing Win98/Win98SE/Me, it will auto-detect your system configuration and find the adapter hardware. 1. When you are asked to select which driver you want to install, select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer". 2. Insert the Kingston KNU101TX driver disk into drive A and specify the path name A:\ 3. If Windows shows a message that it can not find KTCU101T.INF or KTCU101T.SYS, please specify the driver path name A:\ 4. Win98/Win98SE/Me will ask you to insert the Win98/Win98SE/Me system CD to complete setup. 5. Win98/Win98SE/Me will prompt you to restart the system. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
