DEVICE DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE ================================ This document describes the procedure to install Windows 2000 driver for Kingston EtheRx KNU101TX USB Fast Ethernet Adapter. Before you start with the installation process, make sure that your Kingston EtheRx KNU101TX USB Fast Ethernet adapter is properly installed in your USB port. Executing Windows2000, it will auto-detect your system configuration and find the adapter hardware. 1. The Install Hardware Device Driver Wizard will ask you how to install. Please select "Search for a suitable driver for my device". 2. The Locate Driver Files Wizard will ask for the driver location. Please select "Floppy disk driver". 3. When Digital Signature not found windows appear, please press "Yes" button to continue installation. 4. If Windows 2000 shows a message that it can not find KTCU101T.INF or KTCU101T.SYS, please specify the driver path name A:\ 5. Windows 2000 will ask you to insert the Windows 2000 system CD to complete setup. 6. Windows 2000 will finish the installation procedure automatically and ask you restart the system. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
