Diamond Voice 56VP PCI Modem Windows 2000 Driver Installation Instructions Step 1: Once the modem hardware has been installed, Windows 2000 will detect a new hardware device. Click Next to continue. Step 2: Select Search for a suitable driver. Click Next. Step 3: Check Specify a location and click Next. Step 4: Browse to the path you extracted the driver files to e.g. c:\DV56VP. Click OK. Step 5: Windows will find the location of the driver. Click Next. Step 6: A Digital Signature prompt will appear. Click Yes to continue. Step 7: Click Finish to complete the installation. Step 8: Before using the modem, you must specify your country. Double click "My Computer", then the "Control Panel" icon. Double click "Phone and Modem Options" icon. Step 9: From the Modems tab, highlight Conexant HCF PCI Modem and click the Properties button. Step 10: From the Advanced tab, scroll to the bottom of the Country Select list and select Australia. Click OK, OK. Congratulations - you have succesfully installed the Diamond Voice 56VP PCI Modem under Windows 2000. The modem is now ready for use.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
