Enseo MVPPRO Display Driver for Windows 2000 Release Notes ----------------------------------------------------------- This Display driver is for use with Windows 2000 only and is compatible with the Enseo MVPPRO, MVPPRO ZX, MVPPRO AGP and MVPPRO SE display adapters. Installation Instructions ----------------------------- 1. Boot machine with MVPPRO card installed in a PCI or AGP slot as appropriate. 2. After logging in Windows will detect the new hardware and will seek compatible drivers. Allow Windows some time to do this, it use the preinstalled NVidia drivers distributed with Windows 2000. When asked 'Do you wish to reboot now?' select No. When the new hardware dialog has ceased all its operations reboot the machine. 3. After rebooting Windows will have fully installed the default NVidia drivers. These need to be updated to the MVPPRO drivers for the card to be fully functional. To do this select Settings->Control Panel->Display to invoke the Display Properties dialog. Select the Settings tab. You will see a monitor for each Display port in the computer. There will be typically two or four ports for each MVPPRO card installed in the system. 4. Select each 'Monitor' representing an NVidia device in turn and then click on the Advanced button. 5. In the Advanced dialog, select the Adapter tab. Click on the Properties button. Select the Driver tab in the new dialog. Click on Update Driver. 6. Follow the steps in the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard, opting to 'Search for a suitable driver'. Check the 'Specify a location' option. Then when asked for the manufacturers disks, Browse to locate the MVPPRO drivers files and select Ok. 7. When asked 'Do you wish to reboot now?' select No. 8. Repeat steps 4-7 for all NVidia Display devices in the Display Properties dialog. 9. Reboot the machine. 10. After logging in another device will be detected, this is the Video Capture device, follow the new hardware wizard and again browse to the location of the MVPPRO drivers to find a suitable driver for this device. A reboot is not necessary. 11. Installation of the drivers is now complete. Version 3.1.0.0 -------------------- Known Issues -------------- - The Capture driver fails to enter Standby mode correctly when prompted by Windows. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
