PROBLEMS WITH SOME DRIVER SETTINGS If the application has the Use PPD setting activated, the following driver settings will not work: Emulate Other Printers, WEB Access, and Printable Area. FREEHAND 8.0 The driver settings are not applied to the job. You are recommended to upgrade to Freehand 8.0.1 or Freehand 9.0. MIRROR SETTING The driver's Mirror setting does not work with Freehand, PageMaker 6.5, QuarkExpress 4.x, or CorelDRAW. CORELDRAW 9.0 CorelDRAW has problems printing complex images, and error messages may appear. If you select "Continue", the image will be printed eventually, but not completely. SCALING INFORMATION When Enable Scaling is selected from the Paper tab, changes made to the "This Page Size" and "Percent" fields are immediately reflected in the Scaling section. When the "Width" and "Height" fields are changed, those changes are not reflected until you click on a different field or click on OK. You must then go back to the Scaling options box. LAYOUT INFORMATION The image in Layout View should rotate when the Orientation is changed from Portrait to Landscape and vice versa. If the page size is changed, the image size in the Layout View should also change. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
