========= VideoCap VCAP Installation for Windows 3.1 ======== A. Driver and Application Installation -------------------------------------- 1. Insert the "VideoCap VCAP Utilities and Drivers" disk in Drive A: or B: 2. Start Windows 3.1 or 3.11 3. Run "a:install" (If disk is in drive a:) 4. When Installation is complete, restart Windows. ========= VideoCap VCAP Installation for Windows 95 ======== A. Driver Installation ---------------------- 1. Windows 95 should automatically detect the VCAP as a PCI Multimedia Video Device. 2. When the "New Hardware Found" dialog box prompts for a driver, select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer" and insert the "VideoCap VCAP Utilities and Drivers" disk into the floppy drive. 3. Select the correct path (A: or B:) and click "OK". 4. The "Select Device" dialog box should show the VideoCap VCAP highlighted. 5. Click "OK". The driver files will then be copied. 6. When prompted, click "Yes" to restart the computer. B. Application installation ---------------------------- 1. Insert the "VideoCap VCAP Utilities and Drivers" disk in Drive A: or B: 2. Run "a:install" (If disk is in drive a:) 3. When Installation is complete, restart Windows. C. Driver Update ---------------- 1. In the Control Panel, click on "System". 2. Select the "Device Manager" tab. 3. Double click "Sound,Video and game controllers". 4. Select the "VideoCap VCAP". 5. Click on "Properties". 6. Select the "Driver" tab. 7. Click "Change Driver". 8. Click on "Have Disk". 9. Insert the new "VideoCap VCAP Utilities and Drivers" disk. 10. Select the correct path (A: or B:) and click "OK". 11. The "Select Device" dialog box should show the VideoCap VCAP highlighted. 12. Click "OK". The driver files will then be copied. 13. When prompted, click "Yes" to restart the computer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
