			INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 


1. Go to the System Properties window (Start/Settings/Control Panel/system).
2. Click on the Device Manager tab and select the "View Devices by type" radio button.
3. Under System Devices, make sure to remove the item "PCI Multimedia Audio Device" on 
   the "? Other devices"
4. Close the System Properties window.
5. Go to the Add New Hardware window (Start/Settings/Control Panel/).
6. When the wizard pops up to help you install new hardware, click next once. 
   In the next window, select "No", you do not want Windows to help you search for new 
   hardware. Click Next to proceed.
7. In the next window, select Sound, Video and Game Controllers when asked to pick the 
   type of hardware you want to install. Click Next to proceed.
8. In the next window, click the Have Disk button. The program then prompts you to type 
   a path name where it can find the proper driver. The Sound Driver can be found in 
   the \audiodrv\solo1\win9x directory of the disk provided.
9. The program will then list all the drivers available on that disk, make sure to pick 
   "ES1938 PCI AudioDrive Device Manager ". Proceed and follow the directions onscreen.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
