Microsoft Windows NT Installation for CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card This document contains the installation guide for the Microsoft Windows NT Operating System. It is recommented to print the instruction out on a printer before installation. For the best results, open this document in Windows Write, Microsoft Word, or another word processing application, select the entire document and format the text in 10 point Courier before printing. Windows NT Version 4.0 ---------------------- 1. Open the Control Panel, and choose Network Setup. 2. When the Network window appears, click on the Adapters tab. Click on the Add button, followed by Have Disk. Put the driver disk into drive A. When asked to supply the path to the disk, type a:\ and click OK. NT will ask you to supply the "Memory Address", "IRQ Number", and "Connection Type" for the card. 3. When you're finished, click OK. NT will copy necessary files to your computer. 4. When the Network window reappears, click on the Bindings tab. Choose your bindings. Click on the Protocols tab and select your settings. Do the same for the Services tab. 5. After your bindings, settings, and services are set, click on the Close button. Choose to restart your computer. After NT restarts, be sure to log in. Windows NT Version 3.51 ----------------------- 1. Open the Control Panel, and choose Network Setup. 2. Click the Add Adapter button. 3. Select "<Other> Requires disk from manufacturer". 4. Insert Driver Diskette in Drive A: and type A:\ in the path. 5. Select "CardBus Fast Ethernet Attached Port PC Card" from the list. 6. Set the "Memory Address", "IRQ Number", and "Connection Type" to the desired settings from the lists of free resources available. And click OK. 7. Click OK to exit Network Setup. 8. Insert the CardBus Fast Ethernet PC Card and Reboot Windows NT.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
