README.TXT Driver File Contents (UPD303D1.EXE)

This disk contains information for temporarily allowing applications to move to
Windows 95. If you currently have a 16bit Windows application using sauth300.obj
or sacwd300.dll you can relink you application with new libraries and run them under 95.
The applications will go through several layers of dll's before thunking into
32bits and accessing the new One Wire virtual device driver.

This process should require no code changes on your part, although a relink is a
necessity. Hopefully this will fix any incompatibilites experienced under Windows 95.

Two Methods of linking:

1. SACWD300.dll
	a. Remove sacwd300.lib from your applications dependency list.
	b. Add sauthint.lib to your applications dependency list.
	c. Relink the application.
	d. Distribute your application with sauthint.dll, sacw.dll sauth3x4.dll, and
sauthvxd.dll. Also, the vsauthd.386 virtual device driver will need to
	   be installed on the system.

2. SAUTH300.OBJ and any other object file dependency.
	a. remove sauth300.obj from your applications dependency list.
	b. add sauthnew.obj and s951632.lib to your dependency list.
	c. relink the application.
	d. Distribute your application with s951632.dll, sauth3x4.dll sauthvxd.dll,
and the vsauthd.386 virtural device driver.
