Xerox WorkCentre USB Driver

USB Driver Installation Instructions.

1. Extract the files to a directory on your Hard drive.

2. Turn on the WorkCentre.

3. Connect the USB cable to the WorkCentre then to the PC's USB port.

4. The "Found New Hardware" Wizard should find a "USB Device" , follow the onscreen instructions, Select "Search for driver", then check "Specify a location", enter the location that you extracted the USB driver to, or locate it using the "Browse" feature.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

5. After the USB Driver is installed the "Found New Hardware" Wizard may find the "Xerox WorkCentre" click on "Cancel" then run the Xerox WorkCentre Print Driver that you down loaded from the WEB (example FXEnu3.exe). During setup you should see LPT/USB1 as a port to print to.

Note: Use Sdcusbun.exe if you want to uninstall the USB Driver.

Note: This USB Driver was does not work with Windows 2000.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
