IWILL KK266 BIOS Version 35103A Dated October 23, 2001 ====================================================== This BIOS is believed to be one of the Last versions for the KK266 IWILL Motherboard (Non-Raid). It was extracted from a working KK266 Motherboard with the AWDFLASH.EXE save Bios feature. Note 1 ====== The BIOS must be flashed with the AWDFLASH.EXE that is contained within this ZIP file. If you Try it with another Version of AWDFLASH, you may get this message: BIOS Image File Check Sum Error !! You Can't Update this Image File !! Check to see if FDD & HDD error occurred Please Download Again Your Source File The AWDFLASH.EXE that is contained within Zip is: Flash Memory Writer Version 7.64A. I tried it with: AwardBIOS Flash Utility Version 8.23K and got the above mentioned error. Note 2 ====== In order for the BIOS to be set as flashable, go into the BIOS and look for the Section IWILL Smart Setting. BIOS-ROM Flash Protect must be set to [Flashable] Note 3 ====== You may have to Select ALT+F2 to update the BIOS as indicated on the Boot Screen. Note 4 ====== This BIOS update may have also been packaged by IWILL under the name KK0622.exe. I am including a Copy of this file within the ZIP. However, when I click on the file to expand it, there is an error: Can't read file! Damaged file? However, all files have an OK by them? Use at your own risk. Information about this BIOS Version gathered on the Internet ============================================================ Added support for "Palomino" processor. Only mentions adding support for the Palomino. Users are reporting that this BIOS is solving their shutdown / endless reboot problems caused by the 0508 and 0515 BIOS. This BIOS is for the Non-Raid Version. Your Motherboard should look the same, but without the Yellow Raid Controllers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
