SiS IDE Driver Installation For Windows NT 3.5X =============================================== 01) From the Options menu in "^Windows NT setup", choose "^Add/Remove SCSI Adapters". 02) In the SCSI Adapter Setup dialog box, choose the "^Add" button 03) In the "^Adapter:" list dialog box, choose "^Other (Requires a disk from a hardware manufacturer)" 04) Next, you will see the "^Insert Diskette" dialog box, insert the SiS driver diskette into floppy A or CD-ROM drive, and change path to "NT"(floppy A) or "D:\IDE\NT"(CD-ROM Drive) in dialog box. *** (assume D drive is the CD-ROM drive) *** 05) Next, In "Select OEM Option" dialog box, choose "^SiS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport Driver" and click "OK". 06) In the "^Select SCSI Adapter Option" dialog box, click on the "^Install" button in the dialog box. 07) When the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box reappear, check whether "^IDE CD-ROM [ATAPI 1.2] / Dual_channel PCI IDE" is listed. If yes, select it with mouse and click "^Remove" button. 08) Installation is successful if the "^SCSI Adapter Setup" dialog box reappear, and "^SiS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport Driver" will be listed as an installed driver. 09) Reboot your system. SiS IDE Driver Installation For Windows NT 4.0 =================================================== 1) Enter Windows NT 4.0 System. 2) Double click the "My Computer" icon on the Desktop. 3) Double click the "Control Panel" icon in "My Computer". 4) Double click the "SCSI Adapters" icon in "Control Panel". 5) Select "Drivers" option in "SCSI Adapters" and click "Add". 6) Insert the SiS IDE Driver diskette into floppy A or CD-ROM Drive, and click "Have Disk" in "Install Driver" window. 7) Change path to "NT"(floppy A) or "D:\IDE\NT"(CD-ROM Driver), and click "OK" in "Install From Disk" window. *** (assume D drive is the CD-ROM drive) *** 8) Choose "SIS PCI MASTER IDE Miniport DRIVER" in "Install Driver" and click "OK". 9) Change path to "NT" and click "Continue" in "Windows NT Setup" window. 10) Click "Yes" to restart computer in "System Settings Change" window.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
