Thanks for purchasing PLANET ADSL Modem Router, ADE-3000 / ADE-4000.
This document provides the firmware upgrade procedure for 080902R9P2 firmware release.

NOTE: This firmware release provide two files: Firmware.dlf and bootrom.dlf. 
You have to upgrade Firmware.dlf first and then bootrom.dlf.
After these two new codes are upgraded, please press the reset 
button at the rear panel to let it have a new default settings.  

Upgrade procedure: 
1. Enter the web management interface of the ADE modem router.
2. Select "Code Image Update".
3. Get the Code Image Update screen and click "Image Download" to enter
   download state.
4. Wait and enter the download state.
5. Browse the new code (Firmware.dlf) which is located at the folder
   where you store the unzipped files.
6. Select the "Firmware.dlf" first.
7. Back to Code Image Upgrade screen and click "Upload" to start.
8. Wait for the router to reboot.
9. Repeat above procedure and select "bootrom.dlf".
10.Press press the reset button at the rear panel to let it have a 
   new default setting. Then the upgrading procedure is done.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
