NOTE:
If you install an older software driver and the Application Software from the driver disc that came with your PCI TV Tuner card you must uninstall them first before proceeding to the Windows Vista™ 32 bit installation.

This Software Driver and Application Software for Windows Vista 32™ bit is for ENLTV and ENLTV-FM version 5.2 only. If you have a different version please contact our Technical Support for help. To check whether you have a version 5.2 check the lower right corner of the TV Tuner card PCB board. It should say STV VER:5.2



Installation procedure:

After downloading and unzipping the Windows Vista™ file from www.encore-usa.com please do the following:

- Install the ENLTV or ENLV-FM PCI card into your PC (refer to your PC instructions on how to install new hardware to your computer)

- If you copied and unzipped the installation software driver and application software to a R/W disc insert it to the CDROM drive now.

- Re-start Windows

- Install Software Driver:
Windows should automatically detect your new hardware as "multimedia device". Follow the screen instructions to install the new found hardware. Direct Windows Vista™ installation instructions to where the downloded driver disc is located in your hard disk or CDROM drive. Once the Software Driver is located and installed you should see "Encore TV DBA Device" line in the Device Manager under Sound and Multimedia. Windows Vista™ may prompt you to restart Windows. Go ahead and restart Windows. 

- Install Application Software:
From the downloaded and unzipped folder, double click SETUP.EXE and follow the screen instructions. Restart Windows when prompted to.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
