 1. Introduction
 ----------------

  1) Connects using USB industry standard interface  
  2) Supports PSX Dual Shock Function in games, which support DirectX force feedback. 
  3) Analog joystick resolution of 256 positions on each axis. 
  4) Work on computers with Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows 2000 operation system
  5) No joystick calibration is required. Just plug it in and play.

 2. System Requirements
 ----------------------

  To use Shock2USB Game Converter Software, you need:

 1) Personal Computer with Pentium 90 processor or higher 
 2) Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows 2000 operating system 
 3) Microsoft DirectX API version 5.0 or later. 
 4) Personal Computer with USB Port and USB Cable.
 5) PSX Dual Shock Joystick. (PSX Analog Controller SCPH-1200 or SCPH-10010).
 6) Shock2USB Joystick Converter.
 7) Shock2USB installation Disk.

 **NOTE: 
   The Shock2USB DOES NOT work on Windows 95... (Because WIN95 not support USB) you must upgrade to 
 Windows 98/ME or Window 2000 to use it.

 3. Windows 98 OS Installation:
 -------------------------------

 1) Plug your (PSX Analog Controller SCPH-1200 or SCPH-10010) Joystick 
    with " Shock2USB Converter "
 2) Power on your PC, into Windows system.
 3) Insert " Shock2USB installation Disk " in your " Floppy DRIVER". On your PC.
 4) Plug the " Shock2USB Converter " with USB cable into USB PORT. On your PC.
 5) Follow the windows 98 Instructions, to install the driver from "a:\".
 8) Now you can " test " the joystick. 
   (1)The LED which is analog indicator will light when plug the USB connector after installation.
   (2)Please push "start" buttom and you will feel the vibration effect.
 9) Enjoy it.

 4. Windows 2000 OS Installation:
 -------------------------------

 Step 1 (install Default Driver)

 1) Plug your (PSX Analog Controller SCPH-1200 or SCPH-10010) Joystick 
    with " Shock2USB Converter "
 2) Power on your PC, into Windows system.
 3) Plug the " Shock2USB Converter " with USB cable into USB PORT. On your PC.
 4) Follow the windows 2000 Instructions, to install the Default HID driver .
 
 Step 2 (Update the Driver ) 

 1) Insert " Shock2USB installation Disk " in your " Floppy DRIVER". On your PC.
 2) Go to the "Control Panels" window,  and select the "System" icon.
 3) In "system properties" windows, select "Hardware" menu, and press "Driver manager" button.
 4) In "Driver manager" windows, select "Human Interface Devices", then into "USB Human Interface Device"
 5) In "USB Human Interface Device" Windows, select "Driver" menu,and press "Update Driver" button.
 6) Follow the windows 2000 Instructions, to install the driver from "a:\".
 7) Now you can " test " the joystick.

 8) Enjoy it.

 --------

 1) play (Rally Masters), the controller please select (ms sidewinder FF)

 2) play (Recoil), please disable (constant force) in (game controller) setup.

 3) play (Nescar 2000), please disable (constant force) in (game controller) setup.

 4) Please don't use USB HUB to connect the converter.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
