1.   Install/Uninstall
  
    This software supports the following platforms: Windows(R)
   98, 98 SE, ME, 
  2000(Professional), XP,Server 2003. 
  If you are installing this software under
  Windows(R) 2000, you must be logged on as
  an Administrator.
  

1.1  Disk Space Requirements
  
    For a typical installation, each component needs the
  following disk space:  Genius TwinTouch software (2 MB)

1.2  Standard Installation
  
     Insert the TwinTouch CD into your CD or DVD ROM drive.  If the
  Auto Insert Notification is enabled in your system, Setup will
  launch automatically. Otherwise, run Setup.exe from the root
  directory of the CD ROM to install the TwinTouch software.
  
1.3  Uninstall
  
    To remove Genius TwinTouch from your system, double-click
  on the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel.  Select
  "Genius TwinTouch Software", and click on the "Remove" button.
  
1.4  Installation on Dual Boot Systems
  
  If your computer can boot both Windows(R) 98,98 SE, ME, 2000 
  or XP,Server 2003, you must install the Genius TwinTouch software on each platform
  and in separate directories.
  
2.   Using the Multimedia Keys

2.1  Supported Multimedia Players
  
  The Genius TwinTouch software supports the following Multimedia
  applications: RealJukeBox(tm) versions 1.x,2.x,RealPlayer G2,
  RealPlayer 10,Realplayer Plus G2,RealOne Player,Microsoft CD Player,Microsoft Deluxe CD Player,
  Winamp 2.x/3.x/5.x,Sonique,Sonique 2 beta,Windows Media Player up to Version 9.x,Creative CD,
  Voyetra AutioStation,MusicMatch Jukebox Version 5.x/9.x, WinDVD,PowerDVD,Liquid Audio 4.x/5,
  iTunes,Quicktime.
  
2.2  On-screen key effects may be incorrect or out of sync when
pressing "play/pause" key
  
  When you press the "play" key to launch the default multimedia
  player, the on-screen visual might show "pause" instead. To
  correct this, press the "stop" key then press the "play" key
  again.
  
2.3  Double on-screen key effects superimposed on each other
  
    This can happen on computers that already have other
  multimedia keyboard software installed. To correct this, you
  will need to uninstall the other keyboard software using the
  Add/Remove Programs applet in the Windows Control Panel.
  
  This can also show up briefly when you press the "play/pause"
  key and "volume" keys too fast.
  
  
2.4  Using the "play" key
  
    With Genius TwinTouch installed, pressing the "play"
  key will launch the default CD player and automatically play an
  audio CD if it is in the CD ROM drive. When using the multimedia
  keys to play MP3s or other supported digital song formats from a
  playlist, the "play" key may only launch the player and could be
  out of sync (refer to section 2.2). Some applications like Music
  Match will start playing the first song in the playlist.
  
2.5  Using the Multimedia Keys with DVD ROMs
  
    Before you can use the multimedia keys with DVD ROMs, you
  need to launch the DVD Player application first. At this time,
  only PowerDVD and WinDVD are supported by the Genius Wireless
  2.4G TwinTouch software.
  
  
3.   Using the Office key

3.1  using the "word" key
     After you install the Microsoft Word application in your system,
  you can launch the Word application simply by pressing the "word" 
  key on your keyboard.

3.2  using the "excel" key
     After you install the Microsoft Excel application in your system,
  you can launch the Excel application simply by pressing the "excel" 
  key on your keyboard.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
