Release 4.3.0 includes significant enhancements and features designed to increase the speed of your development process. This release upgrades existing 2Gig speed FCAccess 2000 systems only. Client and Server Pre-Installation Instructions: Please check your existing version before proceeding. You may already have the latest version installed. When you launch the Client the revision number is shown on the top message box of the Client window. If you intend to install Release 4.3.0 over your existing version of FCAccess, we recommend that you first make a backup copy of your custom or saved files. Then, uninstall any previous installation, using the "Add/Remove Programs" function found under "Control panel" from your desktop as follows. If you are installing a Client or Viewer for the first time, skip to the Installation instructions below. To Open Add/Remove programs: Click on Start Button at lower left corner of desktop, Click Settings, Click Control Panel. Click Add/Remove Programs. From Add/Remove programs menu choose the following programs if they are listed. 1. FCAccess 2000 Client 2. FCAccess 2000 Server 2. FCAccess 2000 Viewer Client and Server Installation Instructions for FCAccess 2000 Release V4.3.0: To start the 4.3.0 installation, insert the CD into your system. The CD will automatically start a menu from which you can choose the type of install you require. Once you have made your selection, follow the screen prompts until completion. You should reboot your system upon completion of the install. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
