GENERAL ISSUES FOR Windows Me
-----------------------------
1. GENERAL ISSUES
=================

(1) Persistent Camera Icon Error

The camera icon may persist, causing an error the next time the camera is
connected, if, during a connection, the camera's power is shut off,
the USB cable is detached or the camera automatically powers down
after being left alone for an extended period.
If this happens, shut down and restart the computer before attempting
    to reconnect.

(2) "TWAIN Data Source not found. Please reinstall scanner software."
    Error Message

If you have set the WIA Driver settings to start a specific program
when the camera is connected, that program may display an error message
similar to that above. If this happens, select [WIA-(your camera model)]
as the TWAIN device in that program and use the WIA TWAIN Driver.

(3) Camera Window Doesn't Open Automatically at ZoomBrowser EX Startup

If you have set the WIA Driver settings to start ZoomBrowser EX when
the camera is connected, the ZoomBrowser EX camera window may not open
automatically at startup. To use the camera window, double-click the
Canon camera icon in the ZoomBrowser EX window.

(4) Error in Using WIA TWAIN Driver with 'Detail' view setting

Using the WIA TWAIN Driver with the view setting set to Detail may result
in an error message or a system shutdown. If this occurs, select the
Thumbnails view setting to use the WIA TWAIN Driver.

2. ISSUES WITH THE SCANNERS AND CAMERAS WIZARD
==============================================

(1) Loss of Image Properties Data with Rotation in Wizard

The image properties contents may be lost if an image in the camera is
rotated with the Scanners and Cameras Wizard.

(2) Images Rotated in Wizard Do Not Show Rotation

The thumbnail of an image in the camera that is rotated and saved to disk
with the Scanners and Cameras Wizard may not appear in its rotated
    orientation.

(3) Images Rotated in Camera Do Not Show Rotation in Wizard

Thumbnails of images rotated with the camera may also not appear
in the rotated orientation in the Scanners and Cameras Wizard.

(4) Incorrect Time Setting with Auto Save

The recording date of saved images may be advanced or delayed several
hours if you have set the WIA Driver settings to automatically save
all camera images to disk when a camera is connected.

(5) Camera Search Error

If you copy image data by dragging and dropping it into another folder
from the window summoned by clicking Explore Camera (Advanced) in the
Scanners and Cameras Wizard, an error may occur with subsequent use of
the Scanners and Cameras Wizard. To prevent this error, do not copy
image data from the window summoned by clicking Explore Camera (Advanced)
in the Scanners and Cameras Wizard.

(6) RAW Image Conversion by Wizard

RAW images in the camera saved to the computer with the Scanners and
Cameras Wizard are automatically converted and saved
    in the BMP file format.

(7) Movie Files Not Supported by Wizard

Movie files in the camera cannot be saved to the computer with the
    Scanners and Cameras Wizard.

and dropping them in Windows Explorer may be advanced or delayed
    several hours.
