Important Notes:
1. There are three drivers: Mega4_xx.ham, Mega4xx.dsk, and
Mega3_1xx.dsk.
Mega3_1xx.dsk works with:
a. Netware v3.12+NWPAUPGRADE package,
Mega4_xx.ham or Mega4xx.dsk works with:
a. Netware v4.11+NWPAUPGRADE package
b. Netware v4.2
Only Mega4_xx.ham works with:
a. Netware v5
2. When using 4.11, first load the .dsk drivers, then
install the service pack, and then unload the .dsk
and load the .ham.
3. Use the MEGA4_xx.ham driver whenever possible. The
other drivers are provided for older versions of
Netware.
4. These drivers work with all MegaRAID Controllers
(428, 434, 431, 438, 466, 762)
5. The driver will load and display all possible slots
where it find a supporting device. (Ex. If there are
2 438's in the system in slot 2 & 7, the driver will
display slots 2 & 7 and prompt the user to choose a
slot number. If the driver is loaded a second time,
it will only display the last unused slot.
Bug fixes:
1) Fixed command line procesing of slot option.
2) Fixed subsystem ID bug for multiple load instances.
Enhancements:
1) Added NS switch for support of Intel type RPX
adapters which have no signature.
2) Added hot plug support.
Known restrictions/bugs:
1) Non-HDD devices are not supported with Netware 5.0.
2) Virtual sizing is not supported with Netware 5.0.
3) 438, 466, and 762 MegaRAID controllers must manually
load device driver after a hot plug instance.
